The Lucky Ducky Race for Pace is in its 16th year and Gerry & The Squirrels are shakin' a tailfeather to adopt the most ducks!
Last year, all 31,000 ducks were adopted - the squirrels are heading in all directions to help Gerry meet his goals!
What a Duck Can Do:
1 Duck - Lonely Duck = $5
School Supplies - Adopting a single duck provides a girl with the essential supplies she needs to be successful academically.
5 Ducks - Quack Pack = $20
Incentives - Girls receive points in class for staying on task completing work. These points are used as currency in our Corner Cottage. $20 provides incentives for our girls to meet goals.
30 Ducks - Flock of Ducks = $100
Counseling - Girls come to Pace when they are unsuccessful in Public School. Counselors help them find out WHY. $100 provides a girl and her family with initial counseling and goal setting, creating hope for her future.
125 Ducks - VID (Very Important Ducks) = $400
Your very own logo on a Corporate VID Duck on display at the event, plus the VID's have their very own race just before the Lucky Ducky Race for Pace. Join the fun and you can THROW your VID into the water for a chance to be crowned King or Queen Duck!
Prizes:
1st Place: YOU can drive home in a JEEP* from FIRKINS! (*2 year lease or $5,000)
2nd Place: Weekly dinner for 2 at Anna Maria Oyster Bar for a YEAR
