Help Pace Center for Girls change the lives of girls in Manatee County... ADOPT A DUCK, HELP A GIRL!
The 16th Annual Lucky Ducky Race for Pace, is exactly what the name implies... a rubber duck derby benefiting Pace Center for Girls! Quacky is our adorable mascot who can be seen all over Manatee County, encouraging everyone she meets to adopt her adorable ducklings.
Here are the basics:

- Pace Center for Girls will be racing 30,000+ adorable rubber ducks down the Manatee River for prizes
- YOU can adopt one of those ducklings for only $5! A family of 5 is only $20, or an entire FLOCK of 30 is only $100.
- Back for 2025: The VID! Want in on the fun? For $400, you'll receive a Corporate Duck with your logo in the VID Race, plus 125 ducks in the Lucky Ducky Race for PACE! Keep those 125 entries for yourself or give them away to customers and friends - your choice.
- Not planning to be in Florida in April? Don't worry, you can keep up with the fun + all the winners on Pace's Facebook page!
What a Duck Can Do:
1 Duck - Lonely Duck = $5
School Supplies - Adopting a single duck provides a girls with the essential supplies she needs to be successful academically.
5 Ducks - Quack Pack = $20
Incentives - Girls receive points in classes for staying on task and completing work. These points are used as currency in our Corner Cottage. $20 provides incentives for our girls to meet goals.
30 Ducks - Flock of Ducks = $100
Counseling - Girls come to Pace when they are unsuccessful in Public School. Counselors help them find out WHY. $100 provides a girl and her family with initial counseling and goal setting, creating hope for her future.
100 Ducks - VID (Very Important Ducks) = $350
