What is the Southern Ducky Derby Dash? It's a signature annual fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Illinois! In it's 7th year, spectators will watch 10,000 or more yellow rubber ducks splash into the lake at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds in Du Quoin, IL and race to the finish line in person. The race will take place on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023*. All proceeds benefit more than 1600 athletes across southern Illinois.
