Help me fundraise for The Center by adopting some ducks for this year’s duck race. The Center helps all people live free from violence and abuse. All services provided to victims of abuse are free and confidential, including:
- Victims of domestic violence
- Victims of sexual abuse and assault
- Elder abuse
- Abused and exploited adults with disabilities
- Children who have been abused or witnessed abuse
- Victims of human trafficking
We also have a growing prevention education department which talks to kids of all ages about healthy relationships and bullying. Finally, we have a presence in the Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford county courthouses by helping people get orders of protection and provide programming for perpetrators of abuse at our Family Violence Intervention Project office. Needless to say, The Center is a wonderful resource to our community which fills so many cracks. Let’s keep this organization strong!
