Women and girls in poverty often struggle to secure the basics like food, shelter and clothing, but also have another uniquely feminine necessity: menstrual hygiene (or, period) supplies.
- 1 in 4 North Texas women and girls continue to struggle monthly to afford or access hygiene/period products.
- 1 in 3 low-income North Texas women miss work and girls miss school monthly because they chronically do not have hygiene/period products.
- Texas does not require free products in school or public restrooms so women and girls will go without these items and miss work and school, or use unsafe items if not donated to the community service and crisis centers.
She Supply fills this need so that women and girls can maintain proper hygiene and dignity, attend work or school, and other activities and opportunities otherwise not possible without proper products.
To date we have distributed over 1.5 million free period products to our community partners, and we have se our sights on an audacious goal-"1 million more in '24".
Thank you so much for your support. For every duck we sell, our nonprofit earns $1 back from the event.
