Kindermourn has been a tremendous help and resource after the loss of my daughter DeAuzhane', who passed away May 12, 2023, from a car accident. The loss of a child is such a traumatic event for the family. From individual counseling for myself or my 5 other daughters, Kindermourn has shown nothing but compassion, understanding and great therapist for my family and others who are with loss. They provide a comfortable home, with many rooms if you're needing to get away. Areas for the children that include, games, snacks and a bright fish tank. Are for adults, with a grief library, where you can check out books at your leisure. Grieving families benefit so much from the services offered. Each group of ducks helps with cost that it takes to run the program and will continue to help families for years to come. Thank you so much for adopting ducks for a cause. KinderMourn provides hope for bereaved parents, grieving children, and teens by offering support and counseling programs, creating awareness of bereavement issues, and empowering the community to effectively assist those who have suffered an unthinkable loss.

What Your Ducks Can Do:

A Six Quack (6) - $30

Provides a week's worth of snacks and drinks, offered to all children and teens who visit the KinderMourn home for counseling

The Lucky Dozen (13) - $65

Provides one counseling session for a newly bereaved parent grieving the loss of a child at any age or from any cause

The Whole Raft (20) - $100

Provides one counseling group session with professional KinderMourn counselors for teens grieving the loss of a loved one

Super Flock (50) - $250

Provides counseling with KinderMourn clinical staff to school communities, employers, churches, etc. after a tragic or unexpected death
