Felicia's Story
Felicia loved life. She was beautiful and bold, sassy and loving, quirky in the best possible way. She was a Master of Potions, loved her friends and family fiercely, and head Unicorn in Charge at Trouble bar in Louisville, KY. Her mom, lovingly dubbed Miss Mother by Felicia's chosen family of friends, lives in Charlotte.

Felicia loved life - yet hers was tragically cut short after a courageous battle with breast cancer December 21st. Felicia was BRAVE beyond words. She never gave up hope even when it was illogical to be full of HOPE.

Please join Miss Mother's and Felicia's friends and adopt a duck or flock in her memory. We know Felicia loved rubber ducks (!) and we believe she would love this ducky effort to bring hope to families grieving the loss of their child, whether that child was 4 weeks, or 40 years. Thank you.

KinderMourn provides hope for bereaved parents, grieving children, and teens by offering support and counseling programs, creating awareness of bereavement issues, and empowering the community to effectively assist those who have suffered an unthinkable loss.

What Your Ducks Can Do:

A Six Quack (6) - $30

Provides a week's worth of snacks and drinks, offered to all children and teens who visit the KinderMourn home for counseling

The Lucky Dozen (13) - $65

Provides one counseling session for a newly bereaved parent grieving the loss of a child at any age or from any cause

The Whole Raft (20) - $100

Provides one counseling group session with professional KinderMourn counselors for teens grieving the loss of a loved one

Super Flock (50) - $250

Provides counseling with KinderMourn clinical staff to school communities, employers, churches, etc. after a tragic or unexpected death
