HELP US FLOAT HOPE!
Our Story:
After a stressful pregnancy and many, many doctor's appointments, we were thrilled to be told in November 2023 that our daughter Adaline Rose was a healthy, perfect child. But not even one week later, on December 1st, our tragedy began when we noticed Adaline was no longer playing soccer in Brittany's belly. We immediately rushed to the emergency room, only to get the worst news we could imagine: "there is no heartbeat." We welcomed our daughter sleeping on December 3rd, 2024.
As we began to navigate life after Adaline, Kindermourn has become a large part of our lives. They have helped us in the most difficult time we could ever imagine. They are committed to providing help and healing for bereaved parents and children, and they do so regardless of their ability to pay – offering a sliding scale for individual counseling and free support groups.
Please honor Adaline’s memory by supporting Kindermourn. By extending a helping hand to others who need to walk the same hurtful path of grief, we find some purpose in our pain. Your generosity will not only uphold Adaline’s legacy, but also provide vital resources and support to those navigating some of their darkest days.
Kindermourn continues to help us live through our grief by providing a safe environment for therapy, and the opportunity to connect to some truly amazing people who have shared similar losses. While we would never want anybody to experience what we have experienced, it would have been many-fold worse if we hadn't had their network and resources to fall back on.
We have been absolutely blown away by the generosity our friends, family, and the MICS community have shown to us by supporting our team and this event. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all. Every duck that you adopt for Adaline's Roses ensures that other families are given the support that they need during an extremely difficult time. We feel that giving back to Kindermourn is a part of Adaline’s legacy, and we truly appreciate your duck adoptions!
