Our Story:
In September 2022 we found out we were pregnant with Izzy. Fast forward to November 2022 and we were told at a routine ultrasound that our babies brain never fully developed. She was later given a life limiting diagnosis called Trisomy 13. We formed a special bond with Izzy during our pregnancy and were able to carry her to 35 weeks.
On April 18th, 2023 after 20 hours of labor, Izzy was born, Our sweet girl lived for one wonderful hour.
Shortly after Izzy passed we visited KinderMourn. We met many other parents who went through similar loss with similar stories. For once we didn't feel alone. It helped us get through a very long summer and find friends that could relate to us and grieve with us.
Here we are, a year later, still grieving and missing our bee but moving forward like she would want. All we ask is that you help us in remembering her and impact she left on our community in the short time she was here.
