Pop-Tart’s Pond

Thank you for checking out our team, Pop-Tart’s Pond. We lost a wonderful grandpa (i.e. Pop-Tart) in 2015 from brain cancer. His family and friends miss him daily. Although our family did not use the services of Kindermourn, we became aware of them through our daughter who learned about Kindermourn while attending UNC Charlotte Master’s of Counseling Program. She fell in love with the concept of helping children with their grief after losing a loved one and has decided to take that path as her career. She was accepted by Kindermourn to do do her practicum and will continue in the fall with her internship. Kindermourn is a one of a kind program offered in Charlotte, NC and we are grateful to be a part of such an amazing, compassionate group of people.

What Your Ducks Can Do:

A Six Quack (6) - $30

Provides a week's worth of snacks and drinks, offered to all children and teens who visit the KinderMourn home for counseling

The Lucky Dozen (13) - $65

Provides one counseling session for a newly bereaved parent grieving the loss of a child at any age or from any cause

The Whole Raft (20) - $100

Provides one counseling group session with professional KinderMourn counselors for teens grieving the loss of a loved one

Super Flock (50) - $250

Provides counseling with KinderMourn clinical staff to school communities, employers, churches, etc. after a tragic or unexpected death
