Our beautiful son, John Miller Dunham (John John), was born on June 30th 2022 and spent 5 days with us before he let us know it was his time to go. 5 days longer than we expected. Johnny was never put down. He was held and loved on by family and friends every minute he was here with us. He shared a love of pacis just like his proud big sister Maggie did as a baby. They were 2 -1/2 years a part - but still twins. She loved to show him off.

The heartache lives with us every moment of every day, but we want to make sure we honor our sweet little boy and the love and joy he brought to our lives.

KinderMourn was recommended by countless people. My husband and I joined their Empty Arms group as the first step in our healing process. KinderMourn provides an enormous amount of support and guidance to help those navigate such a devastating loss. It's hard to look forward to something - or even feel ok to look forward to something after a loss - BUT we looked forward to our group meetings every Tuesday. We were not alone, and everything we were feeling was truly understood.

The Hope Floats Duck Race is an annual event that raises thousands of dollars to support KinderMourns mission of providing health, hope and healing to bereaved parents and grieving children.
