Our husbands, John Mayo and Andrew Hays, brought a world filled with joy to us and to our children. In 2021 our worlds collapsed when we had to say goodbye to them far too early.
It's hard to believe it has been more than a year and a half since we lost our partners and our children lost their fathers.
As we continue to find ways to fill this deep void and help our children through their grief, we are incredibly grateful for the role that KinderMourn has played in not only providing a wonderful support arm for our children, but for us as well. The connections and friendships we have formed with others who are experiencing the same or similar pain, and the guidance we've received in how to help our children cope, have been invaluable.
Last year we formed this team to help to raise money so that other families confronted with the loss of a spouse/parent can benefit from the incredible support we've received from KinderMourn. As we continue on our paths, we felt it was important to keep our team active again this year.
And we thank you for continuing to help us to find joy.

KinderMourn provides hope for bereaved parents, grieving children, and teens by offering support and counseling programs, creating awareness of bereavement issues, and empowering the community to effectively assist those who have suffered an unthinkable loss.

What Your Ducks Can Do:
A Six Quack (6) - $30
Provides a week's worth of snacks and drinks, offered to all children and teens who visit the KinderMourn home for counseling
The Lucky Dozen (13) - $65
Provides one counseling session for a newly bereaved parent grieving the loss of a child at any age or from any cause
The Whole Raft (20) - $100
Provides one counseling group session with professional KinderMourn counselors for teens grieving the loss of a loved one
Super Flock (50) - $250
Provides counseling with KinderMourn clinical staff to school communities, employers, churches, etc. after a tragic or unexpected death
